Following Kanika In Post
Social Media is the new norm. You take a few pics, a few selfies. Then Post! We double tap and like the photo. This validates that the photo is a good one and it keeps people interested, which is why they follow you. The more interesting the more likes, the less interesting the less likes and if it gets annoying then you run the risk of being unfollowed. But the interesting thing about this 'reality' is that we can either know more about a person through social media or know less of who they actually are as a genuine person. What truly happens before and after a picture? How does one decide to take a photo of themselves or of a private moment in their lives. The truth to who you are as a person is reflected on your posts on social media. Nothing else matters to your friends other than what you are up to on a day-to-day basis. Imagine going to a high school reunion everyday. Or imagine getting a post card from your friends but instead of a physical card it is because they tagged you in a photo and they checked in at the location. This is the new normal. Reality is depicted and displayed on our phone screens. That is where the truth lies -- no pun intended.
